Meet Your Dietitian

HELLO, AND WELCOME!

If you couldn’t already tell — I love food (no wonder I studied it for 5+ years). Whether it’s cooking, trying new recipes, or gathering around a meal, food has such a large impact within our lives.

However, I’ve been told that I am quite picky with my food choices and my preferences, which is why I’ve learned how to prepare foods that I enjoy, while also nourishing my body.

Once individuals find out that I am a dietitian, they immediately jump to the conclusion that I’m the “food police” or someone who is going to judge their food choices. They also seem to think that I have the most rigid eating patterns. But hello, let’s be real — I’m human and trying to thrive just like you! I gain nothing out of judging you or your food choices. You come first, always.

You’ve got goals? I’ve got skills. Let’s get started!

Here’s the Scoop on Registered Dietitians, and Why You Should Trust One

— A registered healthcare professional who is licensed with the provincial regulatory body and is highly educated in the science of nutrition and dietetics meaning you will be protected from misinformation and pseudoscience

— University-level educated and rigorously trained in a highly competitive field, including courses such as biology, microbiology, organic and inorganic chemistry, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, and more

— Successfully completed a national registration exam to ensure competency

— Equipped with the expertise and qualifications to provide evidence-based medical
nutrition therapy and counselling

— Committed to lifelong education, learning, and growth

“All dietitians are nutritionists, but not all nutritionists are dietitians”

Health looks different for each and every single person.

Here’s what you can expect from me when we work together:

THE PROCESS

01

LET’S CONNECT

Over a free 15-minute phone call, we will assess and discuss what you and/or your business are hoping to achieve and how I can best support you in doing so.

02

LET’S INVEST

We will then decide on the best investment approach in helping you and/or your business achieve the desired goals and outcomes.

03

LET’S MAINTAIN

Finally, we want the work that we did together to last, so we will ensure that we maintain it in a practical manner with supportive tools.
