  • In Canada, there are specific educational requirements to become an RD, and it is a regulated health professional with years of education and training. It is a protected title, whereas in contrast, a nutritionist can be self-proclaimed and does not require any formal education or training. All RDs are nutritionists but not all nutritionists are RDs.

  • Absolutely not! I love food so much that I would never tell you to eliminate anything (unless of course you have an allergy or intolerance). What good is life if it can't be enjoyed? And what good is food if there are rules and restrictions? You can rest assured and not have to ever worry about not being able to enjoy your favourite foods.

  • I am currently registered with the regulatory body in the province of Ontario, and can provide virtual dietetic services to clients all across Canada except those residing in Alberta, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, and Quebec.

  • No, you do not need a referral to access my services at this time. If you're ready to get started, please click here to fill out a contact/inquiry form, and I will be in touch.

  • It depends on your plan and coverage, however nutrition and dietetic services are often covered. Please follow up with your specific insurance provider to determine whether your particular extended health benefits would cover my services.

  • Absolutely not! There is so much more to my services than meal plans. Meal plans do not create behavioural changes, and I do not like to impose restrictions on what individuals eat. I like to work with my clients to create sustainable lifestyle changes, rather than quick fixes with meal plans.
